When sugar is heated to 186 degrees Celsius or above, it melts. This project explores that very well-known characteristic. A virtually uneventful ingredient from an artistic perspective, such as table sugar, can then be turned into mesmerizing shapes.

I perceive a parallel with the human condition: warm people to the ‘right temperature’ and they will turn into something completely different.
